The Atlantis B24J is the first WW2 US aircraft model I have found that is close to 1-87 scale. At 1-92 scale the wing span and overall length are just a couple of feet short of true 1-87.....I can live with that! I am intending to use this as a basis for an airfield diorama aimed at the Ploesti raids that took place in Romania against their oil fields that supported Hitler's War Machine.
As to the Brekina models....I placed this order on January 30th of 2024. They have just arrived.....almost a year later! I will use the Gray vehicle for Hitler's parade car and the other will be a General's field car.
Some Preiser figures and luggage for my diorama Field Hospital. Most of these will not be utilized but it is more economical to buy the bulk packages and modify them to use for my purposes.
The following is an example of my adaptation of a civilian Physician into a Wehrmacht Field Surgeon....the original figure on the left and the final adaptation with a new head, boots and a paint job on the right.
After more than a 10 year wait, I have finally received my back order for 10 each Preiser FlakVierling anti aircraft guns....I find the packaging more than a little unusual. There is no image of the enclosed product.
These two items just arrived from the Ukraine....I got them from Nauport Models eBay store at a "bargain" price with free shipping. It only took about a week to clear customs and arrive at my mailbox!

10 years !!! How is this possible ? As you say a packaging without picture is strange.

My apologies Eddy, after checking back through my old order form, I discovered these AA guns were ordered in January of 2017. So it has been more than 8 years since they were ordered. Still worth the wait as they had to sell them to me for the original pricing which is relatively cheap considering today's pricing for items coming out of Europe.
