At the request of Jean Mi, I will attempt to show how I work up one of my tarps. There is no right or wrong way to do this as long as one is happy with the results...here goes.

First a list of materials and special fixtures that I constructed to make the task a little less tedious. This is particularly effective if you have several tarps to do at one time and wish for some consistency in the construction process.

Here is what the finished and installed tarp supports look like on the vehicle...once they are completely formed and trimmed to size on the bending fixture.

The next step is to carefully lay the tarp on top of the bow supports and lightly mist it with a spray bottle of water. NOT too much or it will cause the tissue to tear or droop excessively. Once you have it positioned to your satisfaction you can then tack it in the corners with a little diluted white glue on a small brush. Let it dry. once it has dried and has not shifted its position, you can then spray it lightly with a few coats of water and white glue. This will firmly fix it in place and also create a sort of shell that may be carefully painted once it is dry.
