Re: THE WARZONE
Thanks Manu,
I'm afraid I am going to have to hit the "Bench" soon as I am running out of fresh material to post.
Have a good day,
Rick

Re: THE WARZONE
After further "digging" I have found a few more images to post up...the first is a ROCO Kubelwagen that I detailed to make it appear a little more realistic. The folded soft top is a little limp and I have gotten better at it after this first attempt, several years ago.

Superbes !
Les STEYR RSO étaient surtout utilisés en Europe de l’Est pour avancer dans la neige et la boue.

Re: THE WARZONE
Thank you all for your interesting comments on my little work horses. I also have the later version of this model with a wooden cabin. It is produced with a tarpaulin but I will probably go with tissue paper tarps as it does add a more realistic appearance.

Re: THE WARZONE
They are 4, but they are all different. Great job on the tarpaulin.

Re: THE WARZONE
Thanks Eddy, you have "nailed" it. It is for this reason that I will continue to make tissue paper tarps...it allows me to be creative and at the same time it individualizes each vehicle enough to give it its own identity.

Re: THE WARZONE
Here is one I had to modify as there was no version available in the 75mm anti-tank role. It is the Trident SdKfz. 251 D /22. It was a fun little project but I discovered later on that the Technical department at Trident did not research this vehicle properly and the width of the vehicle is actually a scale 305mm (12") too narrow. Also, the front tires were too small in diameter. I was able to address the tire situation by easily replacing the original kit tires with some resin parts cast by my friend Paul Heiser of Lakewood Military Models. At some point I shall have to tear it down and correct the width of this model, until then enjoy...
