Hello Everyone,
I have been actively searching the Forum content, looking for models built for the military by past members. To date, I have not seen personal threads posted by Mr. Druhet, Mr. Allain Dailloux or Mr. Salambiez. All of these Gentlemen were in attendance at the 2003 A.G. and displayed some of the finest Military models in 1-87 scale that I have seen to date. Am I missing something? I read that Mr. Druhet left the Forum and returned to Asia, but what of Mr. Dailloux and Mr. Salambiez? If anyone has photos of models (not those I have already seen) built by these Gentlemen, I would be very interested in seeing them either posted on the Forum or PM them to me.
Thanks,
Rick

Re: Our Past Military Modelers...Where are they now?
Good evening, Rick,
We changed the hosting provider for the forum in 2019.
All the previous photos have not been recovered because of too much work.
Alain died before that date.
I helped her son-in-law sort his collection.
I attach the few photos I took on this occasion.
They are not terrible because made in the urgency.

What a "Feast" for the eyes!!
Thank you so much JP for the photos. Mr. Dailloux was a true artist and I am sorry for his passing. I would have enjoyed conversing with him on the finer points of Military modeling. What a shame the data could not be recovered from the old website...such a wealth of information lost forever. I hope other members will perhaps have some of these "memories" stored away that they might post here as a tribute to those no longer with us, who modeled in the Military Genre.
Thanks again,
Rick

Re: Our Past Military Modelers...Where are they now?
Hello Everyone,
I'm curious if there are other members who have photos or information on these past modelers...Mr. Salambiez is very much a mystery to me. Can anyone shed any light on his time with the Autho 87 group and what became of him? Past photos of his creations would also be appreciated.
Thanks,
Rick
