Here is the final result. I am glad I was able to complete a much needed piece for my collection. A tip of the hat to Stephan (sk45139) for the inspiration and Marcel (pol19200) for his technical expertise.

Hi JP and thanks for the comments. I tried to put the hood markings on and they kept falling apart...(old decals) then I went to TL website and they don't have the Decal sheet I need (1425). Do you have a source for the proper decals for the vehicle numbers? Your Wespe model looks pretty good...Paul Heiser also makes this model in Resin....I prefer to work with plastic and the detail seems a little more "crisp" to my eyes.
Ooops!!
I have the wrong seller. Sorry
I give you the right address.
On the sheet there are cover numbers for each type of vehicle: van, truck... and unit identifications for the bumper.
However, you must have lynx eyes to read the transparent white markings. https://tl-modellbau.de/US-Army-1945-187
