Sounds like wiking with a homemade roof? and bravo for the removable rear staircase

It is a Herpa model, It is no longer in production....It came with a removable roof but I added a layer of styrene to alter its appearance and the stairs were simple construction from Evergreen strip styrene with common pins for its axels.

Hello, this really is a very interesting and impressive model.
I have a few questions about it: The chassis and the bonnet are from Wiking?
Is it extended with a second chassis? Where do the wheels and rims of the lorry come from?

Hello Stephan,

I am glad you like this model.....the frame of the truck is added to from an identical frame of the same Wiking model (85805). You can see the join between the two rear wheels. The bonnet is Wiking also and the wheels/tires are from Herpa/Promotex (005474). If you have any other questions do not hesitate to ask.
