Re: THE WARZONE
Hello Friends,
Here are a few that I have not shared with you. They represent some of the vehicles that were appropriated and used by the Germans during WW2.....the variety of vehicle makes for some interesting modeling.

Salut Rick,
peux-tu nous faire un petit tuto sur la manière que tu confectionne tes bâches ?
Hi Rick,
can you give us a little tutorial on how you make your tarpaulins?

Re: THE WARZONE
Hello friends,
I found this photo of a Bus that was converted for medical purposes and I then discovered the Wiking Berliner Doppledeckerbus D 38 to be the perfect candidate to recreate this vehicle. After cutting off the top half, it was just a matter of installing the interior stretcher racks and refitting the roof panel and Viola... After all this time it still has no patina.

Re: THE WARZONE
Here is the latest update on my Field Hospital diorama....
An ambulance has just arrived with a wounded Officer...you can see that he is well fed. The hospital staff are moving him into the Operating Theater as a poor soul looks on from his wheel chair and prays that his wounds are severe enough to get him a ticket home on the next train. Next we see that a couple of "On Duty" Sisters that are hanging up the days laundry, their shift has just begun. Meanwhile, the "Off Duty" Nurses have retreated to their "Penthouse Bath" in order to wash off the days stress and relax in a hot tub of water being prepared by another "On Duty" Sister.
I hope you enjoy my little scene as much as I did in it's creation. Many of the figures have been modified or reconstructed using one or more figures to create a special pose. So far, you are only seeing part of the scene....there is more inside the Hospital that will come to life in my next update, stay tuned.....

Rick, you are the king of the story telling. I like it so much.
You did a great job on this diorama. I can't wait to find out what happens next.

I am pleased you like it. It has been an ongoing project for several years and I am finally seeing an end to it's construction.

Re: THE WARZONE
Hello everyone, the following are a few progress shots of my "Dragon Wagon" Tank transporter. ROCO did a pretty fair job on this one so there isn't much to do bur fill in a few sink holes and add the small details. Everything is base coated and the wheel/tire assemblies are complete. I am presently working on the windshield. Once I have mastered the fit I will be able to splash some paint on the cabin and then it will be on to the decals.
