I have learned to train my eyes to look for the smallest of details to add to the 87 scale replicas in order to bring them up to my standards. The close up photography tells the truth.
Hello friends, it has been awhile since I have posted in the "WarZone". Here is a Conversion I did utilizing the Wiking M.B. 2500 truck as a base to create the Mercedes Benz 3750. I had to recreate the whole front bumper/fender area and move the cabin and hood to a more forward position....observe the location of the front fender in relation to the cabin forward door line. Also the load bed had to be increased in size, so I replaced it with the bed from the Brekina M.B. 4500. Also the Heavy duty "Trilex" wheels and tires (Wiking) were added. In comparison (first photo) there is quite a difference be tween the light duty truck and its heavier big brother.
