Next was the Tire rack and Cab modifications to allow the boom to rest for transport. Then modification of the shovel chassis and finally the shovel house needed upgrading.

Here is the build thread I promised to put up when I posted my "Big" shovel on the Weekly theme... ;-) The base kits for this build were the ROCO Honest John Missile launcher (for its correct wheel base chassis). The ROCO Corbitt (for its cab) And the WIKING Shovel that was a leftover from...

Hello Friends, I have moved slowly as you can see. The first light wash is on and wheels and tires fitted. It is starting to look like the picture I posted. Hi Theo,
A Landing craft for tanks and vehicles (LCV) would make a nice display. I am aware of the Landing craft kits for personnel, those would be too small for my purposes. A ship model would be spectacular but probably also unaffordable.
